From brian mendonca at 2007-01-04 05:23:02 : dear nishant, thank you for your magnificent picture of WAP 22049 i had the singular pleasure of being pulled by it on the 2779 Goa Express from Vasco to Nizamuddin. i arrived from Goa yesterday on 22049, boarding at Vasco on 1 jan 2007. we had the pleasure of being pulled by 22049 from bhusaval station on 2 jan 2007 around 11 am. it was thrilling to see the 22049 take over for the electrified section, from the earlier diesel engine section from vasco to bhusaval. i travel around india - mostly in trains - and write poetry. do a google search on my book 'Last Bus to Vasco: Poems from Goa' (2006). know anyone who would sponsor a book of poems written on trains?! brian new delhi 9818432507
